About

twitterheadshotOne of the best things about being a follower of Jesus is that everyday is adventure and my life has been no exception! My wife and I were headed in a totally different direction in life when we felt God calling us back to our roots to plant a relevant, life-giving church (Centerpoint). Growing up as a pastors kid, my current occupation is a testament to why you should never say never!

Centerpoint has been in existence since 2008 and we had our official launch in September of 2009. God is doing big things in Chillicothe, OH and we are humbled and blessed to be a part of it.

When I’m not doing church stuff I enjoy book reading, movie watching, and music listening. I enjoy all things made by Apple and think the iPhone is probably owned by God :) I can talk about culture and faith for hours and I’m always up for a good theological discussion. My idea of a perfect day would be watching the Ohio State Buckeyes with my family and friends!

I currently serve as the Lead Pastor at Centerpoint &  live in Chillicothe, OH with my wife (Kristyn), our two kids (Aubri & Owen) & our Basset Hound (Lucy Belle).

    Hey Chris,

Yes, I can do an interview with you! Would love to. Phone or IM is great. IM might make it easier for you just because it will already be typed out for you to copy and paste. But if you’d rather chat by phone, that’s great too! Just let me know man!

    Hey there Chris,

Steven here! Just actually found your site through Cloversites.com and sort of tunneled down to catch your bio. I would love to hear/read your church plant story. What have been some of your struggles, things you’ve learned from both a ministry aspects and marital aspects. My wife and I are currently praying about a possible church plant, but want to be sure it is b/c God is calling us, not b/c we think we can “fix” the way we see church being done. Look forward to hearing back from and learning from you.

    Thanks so much
